Records from Borneo

Sabah: Bandu Tuhan, Betotan, Danum Valley, Gunung Kinabalu, Pulau Banggi, Sepilok, Tabin, Tawau, Upper Sungai Kua- mat ( Payne et al., 2000). CentKal: Lengku- an near Sampit (MZB).

Comments

A single male individual distinguished by its size, dark coloration and pointed connecting process, was captured in a harp- trap set across a trail in heavily burnt forest dominated by Piper sp. at the Baai forma- tion. Otherwise in Borneo it is only known from one location in Central Kalimantan and scattered localities in Sabah. This study extends the known distribution of this species ( Boitani et al., 2006) southward by 300 km.
