REMARKS. — The specimens resemble Dentalium diarrhox Watson, 1879 , described from 400 miles [644 km] northeast of New Zealand (Challenger stn 169, in 1280 m), but in the specimens herein the ribs are more clearly defined. I prefer to wait for additional material to identify or describe it.
