Ecology and habitat in Iran: forest soil.

Remarks: Kahrarian et al. 2012 reported this species as Sminthurus marginatus Sch ̂tt, 1893 but, the generic name of this species was changed to Caprainea .

General distribution: Palaearctic ( Fjellberg 2007).
