Type locality. El Sosneado, Mendoza Province, Argentina.

Remarks. The species is known from the type series collected in La Pampa and Mendoza Provinces ( Torres 1958d). We collected specimens in Mendoza Province. The species is associated with the Monte floristic province ( Sanborn et al. 2011a).
