Ariasa bilaqueata ( Uhler, 1903) . New record.

Cicada bilaqueata Uhler 1903: 7 (type material examined).

Type locality. Chapada , Brazil .

Remarks. The species was reported previously from Brazil ( Metcalf 1963a) and Venezuela ( Sanborn 2007a).

MBU.08 (30 males and one female, UCMS) .
