Lectotype (Chaudhri in Cafferty & Jarvis in Taxon 53: 1052. 2004): Herb. Clifford: 41, Herniaria 2, sheet B (BM-000557848) .

Current name: Paronychia argentea Lam. View in CoL ( Caryophyllaceae ).

Note: Chaudhri (in Meded. Bot. Mus. Herb. Rijks Univ. Utrecht 285: 211. 1968) stated " Lectotype: Hort. Cliff. 41, Linnaeus Herb. 290/14 (LINN!)". However, this includes three separate collections (two at BM, one at LINN) which are not part of a single gathering, so his statement was not an effective typification.
