Diagnosis. Forewing length is 12.5– 14 mm in males and 15–16 mm in females. Dolgoma reticulata is defined by pale greyish brown forewing ground colour with forewing having irrorations of dark brown scales. Transverse line is diffuse, V-like angled in the cell and broadened at costa. Hindwing pale ochreous, with slight blackish suffusion at apex in males. The male genitalia are similar to those of D. xanthocraspis , but differ clearly by their significantly narrower uncus, significantly narrower valva, narrower and slightly longer distal saccular process covered with smaller spinules, slightly smaller aedeagus and vesica with smaller diverticula. The female genitalia of D. reticulata differ from those of D. xanthocraspis by their much shorter apophyses posteriores, antrum being slightly narrowed posteriorly, anterior sections of corpus bursae and appendix bursae being heavily sclerotized and rugose, broader diverticulum of appendix bursae and larger signum.

Distribution. India (Jammu & Kashmir, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and Karnataka), Thailand (Černý & Pin- ratana 2009). According to the male genitalia drawing ( Fang 2000, fig. 174), the record for China is erroneous and belongs to an undetermined species similar to D. xanthocraspis .
