NOTES: Lister (1894: 60) referred to two specimens “Lyme Regis, Dorset (L:B.M.37)” and “ Hungary (K 1529)”. In
BM we located specimen (BM 1257) designated as the lectotype by Ing (1982), when he raised the variety to species rank. We also located another box (BM 787) from the same place and date and with comments in notebook V: 19,
which we consider to be an isolectotype. There is another specimen in the same box marked with the letter A from a different place and date. There are also 2 slides (L:B.M.37), one a dry mount and the other a prepared slide, that are of material cited by Lister, so we consider them to be syntypes. There are other boxes from the same locality, collected on different days in November 1891, which we consider to be syntypes. There are notes in notebook V: 18–20.
In K (http://apps.kew.org/herbtrack/results) there is a specimen [K 171271, England, on dead leaf, anon. (ex herb.
H.J. Howard)] that may be part of type material but has no date.
