98. Hippolyte pictus Stimpson Californien 2 Current name. – Heptacarpus sitchensis ( Brandt, 1851) (see Chace, 1997).
ZMC status. – 2 ovigerous females, cl 4.1 and 4.8 mm.

Type status. – Possible types of Hippolyte pictus Stimpson, 1871: 125 .
Type locality. – Monterey , California .
