ZMC status. – Not found.
Remarks. – The entry by Ch. Lütken mistakenly attributed authorship to Dana. In a footnote, Rathbun (in Stimpson, 1907: 122) attributed this specimen to P. depressa . Plagusia squamosa was described by Herbst (1790). For a discussion of the taxonomy of P. squamosa see Schubart & Ng (2000).
