Distribution in mainland China: AH, BJ, HB, HE, HN, JS, SC, SH, SD ( Chu & Zhang 1997). New record for ZJ #, Gutianshan NNR, 29°22’N 118°13’E, 345m, 2010, local collector (1) (NME).

Other distribution. India, Nepal, Thailand, Taiwan ( Liu & Beaver 2018).

Biology. Both Mallotus philippinensis (Lam.) Müll.Arg. (Euphorbiaceae) and Tephrosia candida (Roxb.) DC. (Fabaceae) have been recorded as the host plants ( Beeson & Bhatia 1937).
