Note: According to Kippenberg (2010b), this species is represented by three subspecies in Turkey: The nominate form, Ch. orientalis halysa Bechyné, 1950 and Ch. orientalis sahlbergi (Ménétriés 1832). Besides, Warchałowski (2003) and Özdikmen (2011) stated the existence of Ch. orientalis thraeissa Bechyné, 1950 in southern Turkey. It was not possible to give infraspecific distributions separately.
