Current name: Lactuca plumieri (L.) Gren. & Godr. View in CoL ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Wegmüller (in Bot. Jahrb. Syst. 116: 189. 1994) incorrectly typified the name using an illustration from Kirschleger (who had recombined the Linnaean name in Cicerbita ), rather than an element from the Linnaean protologue. He superseded this earlier choice with a new typification in 1998.
