Distribution. Mediterranean Sea, Sea of Marmara, eastern Atlantic: British Isles south to Western Sahara.
Conservation. IUCN: Global (NE); Med. ( LC: 15 November 2007). Capture and threats: Unknown. Occurrence: Very rare. Low priority for conservation action .
