Distribution. China (Hainan; Guangxi; Yunnan), Vietnam, Singapore.
Remarks. This species was described from an unknown number of male specimens from “ Singapore (H.-N. Ridley. – Brit. Mus.)”. A single male (syntype) is present in the BMNH with the following data: “ Singapore, H. N. Ridley, 1902–158” together with a museum red “ type ” label.
This species is easily distinguished from D. latifrons (Walker) by its single apical process of the aedeagal shaft. In the specimens examined, there are some minor differences in the shape of styles ( Figs 17 View FIGURES 10 – 19 , 20, 21, 22 View FIGURES 20 – 23 ) and colour of the wings ( Figs 11 View FIGURES 10 – 19 , 23 View FIGURES 20 – 23 ).
