Replaced synonym of: Perdicium radiale L. (1763) , nom. illeg.

Lectotype (Anderson in Brittonia 23: 349. 1971): Browne, Herb. Linn. No. 1003.3 ( LINN) .

Current name: Trixis inula Crantz View in CoL ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Although Moore (in Fawcett & Rendle, Fl. Jamaica 7:284. 1936) noted the existence of 1003.3 (LINN), he did not indicate it as the type.
