= Linociera ramiflora f. caudatifolia Chia (1955: 352) . TYPE: — CHINA. Hainan: Kan-en District, near Sam Mo Watt village , Chim Fung Ling, steep slope, forest on clay, S.K. Lau 3682 (lectotype, designated here: A: 00056517 photo!; isolectotypes: IBSC: 0651351 photo!; S: S09-35895 photo!).

Etymology: —The specific epithet “ hainanensis ” apparently refers to Hainan Island, the type location of this species.

Vernacular name: —Vietnamese: Tráng hải nam.
