Caucasian-East-Mediterranean species distributed in Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Iran, Turkey, Greece and Cyprus ( Kvavadze 1985, Omodeo & Rota 1989, Szederjesi 2015, Pavlíček & Csuzdi 2016, Latif et al. 2017).

Distribution in Greece. Rhodes: Agios Isidoros, Kattavia, Koskinou ( Cognetti 1913). Prophitis Ilias ( Zicsi & Michalis 1981). Prophitis Ilias, Aghios Nektarios, Mt. Atavyros ( Szederjesi 2015).

New records. HNHM /17166 1 ex., Rhodes Island, Salakos , in the valley under the Nymphi Spring, Platanus- Quercus (coccifera+aegilops) forest, 36° 17.164'N, 27° 56.866'E, 225 m a.s.l., leg. L. Dányi, 0 3.0 4.2016 . HNHM / 17171 7 ex., Rhodes Island, Archipoli , at the Loutanis River under the Agios Nektarios Monastery, stream-bank with oleander, Platanus and Pinus , 36°15.999'N, 28°4.647'E, 144 m a.s.l., leg. L. Dányi, 0 4.0 4.2016 . HNHM /17178 1 ex., Rhodes Island, Agios Isidoros , footh of Mt. Atavyros NE of the village, Quercus coccifera machia with pine trees, 36°11.196'N, 27°52.713'E, 490 m a.s.l., leg. L. Dányi, 0 4.0 4.2016.

Remark. Helodrilus (Dendrobaena) aegeus Cognetti, 1913 was described from Rhodes and has recently been synonymized with D. pentheri ( Szederjesi 2015) .
