Priocnemella fairchildi (Banks)

BRAZIL: Amazonas State , Manaus, Petrópolis; 22 February 2020; A. M. Gomes (arthurmgomes). Host: Unidentified species ( Ctenidae ), adult or subadult. A series of photographs shows the wasp detaching the limbs of the wandering spider with her mandibles as it laid, dorsal side upward, on the ground ( Gomes 2020) .

FRENCH GUIANA: Cayenne State, Régina Commune , 13 km W of Bita on Aratai Creek; 2 October 2015; S. Meierotto (smeierotto). Host: Unidentified species ( Ctenidae ), adult or subadult female. Two photographs show the wasp straddling the paralyzed wandering spider, venter to dorsum, grasping the base of its chelicera with her mandibles ( Meierotto 2020).
