ARGENTINA: Neuquén Province, Lanin National Park ; 18 January 2010; A. Gonzalez. Host:? Phrixotrichus sp., juvenile female. The wasp grasped the paralyzed tarantula by its right forecoxa with her mandibles and dragged it backwards on the ground, dorsal side upward ( Gonzalez 2010) .

CHILE: Biobío Region, Concepción Province, Concepción, University of Concepción , campus hills; September 2013; B. Crosby. Host: Phrixotrichus cf vulpinus (Karsch) (Chilean ocelot tarantula), adult female. The wasp pursued, stung and immobilized a wandering tarantula. She then examined it with her mouthparts as it laid paralyzed on its left side on dried vegetation on the ground ( Crosby 2013) .

CHILE: Bío Bío Region, Concepción Province, Nonguén National Reserve ; 9 March 2019, G. Andres (gerald_andres). Host: Phrixotrichus cf vulpinus, adult or subadult female. The wasp confronted and faced the reared-back defensive tarantula as they both stood on the ground ( Andres 2019) .

CHILE: Maule Region, Talca Province, Constitución; 7 June 2019; K. Rojas (aquakenia). Host: Acanthogonatus cf pissii (Simon) ( Nemesiidae ), adult or subadult female. A short video shows the wasp struggling to drag the paralyzed tube trapdoor spider up a vertical loose dirt embankment, ventral side upward, grasping the middle of its left foreleg with her mandibles ( Rojas 2019).

Grammostola cf rosea is the most common theraphosid species in the Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile (De Las Heras no date; R. West 2017 pers. comm.).
