NOTES. — Dasynema “ obtusum ” ( Walpers 1848: 110) is treated here as a misspelling of obtusifolium , since Walpers unambiguously referenced Adenobasium obtusifolium Moric. ; therefore it is not an illegitimate homonym of D. obtusum Splitg. Similarly , as Bentham (1861: 63) explicitely based his Sloanea “ obtusa ” on A. obtusifolium , the epithet is also to be corrected.
