Bionomics. FP: VI–VIII. Xero-mesophilous species. Forests and woodlands, montane shrub and stony steppes.
Known localities. B: Kurkeli, Kirigichi; E: Zhartas, Shiderty Reservoir (7th waterworks); AK: Akkuduk.
Literature: Titov et al. (2017b, as Bryophila ( Bryoleuca )).
Note. Although the name Bryoleuca Hampson, 1908 was considered as a subgenus of Bryophila Treitschke, 1825 by Fibiger et al. (2009, 2010), An et al. (2013) and subsequently Pekarsky (2014, 2015, 2019) considered it as a valid genus without any explanation. The present paper follows this concept due to the significant differences in the genitalia structures of species of Bryoleuca and Bryophila s. str.
