Luciola trivandrensis Raj 1947 View in CoL
Luciola trivandrensis Raj 1947: 188 View in CoL . McDermott 1966: 114. Fu et al. 2012a: Table 1 View TABLE 1 , 3 View TABLE 3 .
Type. INDIA. Not located. Raj (1947) reported that the three larvae he collected and tried to rear to adults, all died .
Remarks. There are few clues to aid in the possible identification of this species as Raj presented figures of the dorsal surface of the larval head and antenna only. The projections he described along the posterior margins of most dorsal segments are suggestive of described larvae of Pygoluciola qingyu Fu et al. The three larvae were collected in marshy area but not recorded with gills.
