Type locality: Nusplingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany (Nusplinger Plattenkalk).

Geological range: Upper Kimmeridgian (beckeri ammonite zone).

Geographical range: Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Referred specimen: SMNS 90513, complete skeleton preserved in limestone.
