Diagnosis. Female ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 9–15 ). Length of head ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 9–15 ) subequal (0.93–0.97×) to width in dorsal view; basal half of clypeus with relatively indistinct carina; OOD 1.33–1.69× POD, and 0.50–0.56× OCD, anterior ocellus closer to occiput than to apex of antennal tubercle; upper half of frons and vertex ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 9–15 ) with a few sparse to moderate punctures; pronotal carina ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 9–15 ) strongly present, behind the carina with a row of dense punctures; dorsum of propodeum ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 9–15 ) largely impunctate on horizontal surface, laterally and posteriorly with sparse and irregular punctures, dorsum with broad median groove, base of groove wider than apex, and with bordering carina between horizontal and posterior surfaces; ventral surface of hind femur ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 9–15 ) medially with acute and long prominence; T1 ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 9–15 ) strongly carinate anteriorly, behind the carina with a row of dense punctures, and without subapical groove; pygidium of T6 ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 9–15 ) with few sparse punctures, and apex almost impunctate.
Male. Clypeus with strong carina on basal three-fourths; OOD 1.57× POD, and 0.61× OCD; frons with dense punctures on lower two-thirds and sparse punctures on upper one-third; length of head 0.92× width; punctures on vertex smaller and sparser than frons; occipital carina dorsally indistinct; pronotum with moderate carina and sparsely punctate; dorsum of propodeum with median groove containing transverse striae, lateral surface with punctures of variable size, and with bordering carina between horizontal and posterior surfaces; T1 anteriorly with moderate carina, behind the carina with a row of dense punctures (some contiguous). No male specimens were collected in our study, and the description is referred to Krombein (1968).
