Note: See notes by Isoviita (in Acta Bot. Fenn. 89: 18. 1970) and Grolle (in Feddes Repert. 87: 203. 1976). Vogelpoel (in Acta Bot. Neerl. 26: 493. 1977) designated material in the Dillenian herbarium (OXF) as lectotype but this collection was not studied by Linnaeus and it is not original material for the name.
