Specimens measured. SP (8).

Dorsal shield of female mostly smooth, with scant anterolateral striae, 309 (297–320) long and 153 (150–160) wide. Setal lengths: j1 33 (29–35), j3 71 (67–75), j4 5 (4–6), j5 5, j6 6 (5–6), J2 6 (6–7), J5 7 (6–7), z2 10 (9–12), z4 15 (12–17), z5 6 (5–7), Z1 7 (6–7), Z4 107 (95–120), Z5 134 (128–145), s4 133 (130–137), S2 16 (14–20), S5 14 (12–15), r3 35 (32–40) and R1 12 (10–15). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 66 (65–68), st2–st2 76 (73–85), st5–st5 72 (60–75). Ventrianal shield 111 (103–125) long, 75 (67–80) wide at level of Zv2 and 62 (57–68) wide at anus level. Spermathecal calyx disc-shaped, 4 (4–6) long; atrium inconspicuous. Fixed cheliceral digit 31 (30–32) long, with 11–13 teeth; movable digit 35 (34–37) long, with three teeth. Macrosetae only on leg IV, blunt and thickened; SgeIV 64 (54–78), StiIV 91 (85–102) and StIV 68 (63–70) .

Distribution in Brazil: Amazonas ( Vasconcelos & Silva, 2015), Bahia ( Fiaboe et al., 2007), Espírito Santo ( El-Banhawy, 1984), Mato Grosso do Sul ( Rezende & Lofego, 2011), Paraíba ( Furtado et al., 2005), Pernambuco ( Fiaboe et al., 2007, Rosa et al., 2005) and São Paulo ( Zacarias & Moraes, 2001a; Castro & Moraes, 2010; Moraes et al., 2013).

Distribution elsewhere. Not reported.

Remarks. Species described from Brazil. The measurements are similar to those of the original description of N. sooretamus and to the redescription by Silva et al. (2021a), except for the number of teeth on fixed and movable digits, respectively 7 and 5 in the original description.
