Typhlodromalus feresisimilis Moraes et al., 2013: 323 View Cited Treatment .

According to Moraes et al. (2013), dorsal shield of female mostly areolate, with few anterolateral striae and a smooth band immediately anteriad Z4, 313 (307–322) long and 186 (180–190) wide. Setal lengths: j1 25 (24–26), j3 33 (32–35), j4 16 (15–17), j5 9 (9–10), j6 24 (23–26), J2 23 (21–25), J5 9 (9–10), z2 20 (19–24), z4 37 (36–39), z5 19 (18–20), Z1 36 (33–40), Z4 62 (60–64), Z5 74 (71–78), s4 42 (40–46), S2 41 (39–45), S4 29 (26–32), S5 12, r3 24 (23–25) and R1 15 (14–17). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 66 (64–70), st2–st2 64 (63–65), st5–st5 77 (75–80). Ventrianal shield 103 (98–110) long, 69 (66–70) wide at level of Zv2 and 61 (60–62) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx tubular, 20 (20–21) long; atrium short. Fixed cheliceral digit 31 long, with eight teeth; movable digit 27 long, with 2–3 teeth. Macrosetae on legs I–IV, blunt, except for SgeIV, with a tiny knob; SgeI 18 (15–19), SgeII 15 (14–15), SgeIII 18 (17–20), SgeIV 37 (36–38), StiIII 16 (15–17), StiIV 21 (19–22) and StIV 74 (70–79) .

Distribution in Brazil. São Paulo ( Moraes et al., 2013).

Distribution elsewhere. Not reported.

Remarks. Species described from Brazil and known only from the type specimens. Observations of the holotype and a paratype indicated that the fixed digit has eight teeth, instead of five mentioned in the original description.
