Specimens measured. SC (4).

Dorsal shield of female mostly smooth, with scant anterolateral striae, 353 (340-375) long and 222 (205–230) wide. Setal lengths: j1 27 (25–30), j3 36 (34–38), j4 7, j5 7 (7–8), j6 8 (7–8), J2 11 (10–12), J5 8 (6–8), z2 11 (9–12), z4 9 (8–10), z5 8 (7–8), Z1 11 (10–12), Z4 10 (9–11), Z5 71 (65–75), s4 47 (40–55), S2 12 (10–13), S4 12 (11–12), S5 10 (8–11), r3 14 (13–15) and R1 9 (8–9). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 63 (60–64), st2–st2 68 (65–70), st5–st5 76 (72–78). Ventrianal shield 111 (108–112) long, 58 (54–62) wide at level of Zv2 and 68 (66–70) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx tubular, distinctly constricted next to atrium, flaring slightly toward vesicle, 15 (13–16) long; atrium short. Fixed cheliceral digit 28 (27–29) long, with ten teeth; movable digit 33 (32–35) long, with four teeth. Macrosetae of legs I–IV, sharp-tipped; SgeI 39 (36–42), SgeII 35 (34–36), SgeIII 39 (37–42), SgeIV 62 (58–67), StiIII 30 (27–32), StiIV 44 (38–55) and StIV 80 (74–84) .

Distribution in Brazil. Rio Grande do Sul ( Ferla & Moraes, 2002b) and Santa Catarina ( Barbosa et al., 2021).

Distribution elsewhere. Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Marie Galante, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and Trinidad.

Remarks. The measurements are similar to those of the original description and to the redescription by Moraes et al. (1994).
