Specimens measured. SP (5).
Dorsal shield of female smooth, 290 (275–305) long and 172 (150–200) wide. Setal lengths: j1 20 (19–21), j3 27 (25–30), j4 9 (7–10), j5 8 (7–8), j6 13 (12–15), J2 13 (10–16), J5 7, z2 12 (11–13), z4 16 (15–18), z5 8 (7–8), Z1 17 (15–21), Z4 54 (50–58), Z5 59 (55–62), s4 28 (25–33), S2 20 (18–20), S4 13 (11–15), S5 11 (10–14), r3 13 (12–15) and R1 10 (8–10). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 59 (57–62), st2–st2 65 (64–67), st5–st5 70 (69–72). Ventrianal shield 88 (85–91) long, 96 (93–100) wide at level of Zv2 and 76 (74–78) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx cup-shaped, 14 (12–15) long; atrium elliptical. Fixed cheliceral digit 31 (30–31) long, with 15–16 teeth; movable digit 34 (32–35) long, with three teeth. Macrosetae on legs I–IV, blunt to slightly knobbed; SgeI 14 (12–16), SgeII 14 (13–16), SgeIII 17 (16–18), SgeIV 32 (30–33), StiIII 14 (12–15), StiIV 16 (15–17) and StIV 28 (25–30) .
Distribution in Brazil. Espírito Santo ( El-Banhawy, 1984) and São Paulo (Gondim Jr. & Moraes, 2001; Zacarias & Moraes, 2001a; Castro & Moraes, 2010; Moraes et al., 2013).
Distribution elsewhere. Not reported.
Remarks. Species described from Brazil. The measurements of the specimens examined are similar to those of the original description.
