Specimens measured. BA, SP (9, 5).
Dorsal shield of female mostly smooth, with scant anterolateral striae, 312 (278–334) long and 186 (161–210) wide. Setal lengths: j1 26 (22–28), j3 42 (34–53), j4 7 (6–9), j5 5 (4–6), j6 7 (6–8), J2 7 (6–8), J5 6 (5–9), z2 12 (11–15), z4 11 (9–12), z5 5 (4–6), Z1 7 (6–9), Z4 93 (87–107), Z5 109 (89–138), s4 84 (76–94), S2 12 (11–16), S4 9 (8–11), S5 10 (9–12), r3 23 (17–29) and R1 12 (11–14). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 60 (56–64), st2–st2 73 (64–83), st5–st5 66 (60–72). Ventrianal shield 112 (102–124) long, 70 (64–76) wide at level of Zv2 and 73 (70–77) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx cup-shaped, 5 (4–6) long; atrium bifurcate. Fixed cheliceral digit 32 (29–37) long, with ten teeth; movable digit 33 (30–37) long, with three teeth. Macrosetae of legs I–IV, sharp-tipped; SgeI 36 (30–43), SgeII 32 (27–37), SgeIII 30 (24–38), SgeIV 61 (56–64), StiIII 24 (22–27), StiIV 43 (38–51) and StIV 64 (60–68) .

Amazonas ( Vasconcelos & Silva, 2015), Bahia ( Moraes et al., 1993; Fiaboe et al., 2007), Espírito Santo ( Fiaboe et al., 2007), Goiás ( Demite et al., 2017), Minas Gerais ( Fiaboe et al., 2007; Silva et al., 2010; Ferraz et al., 2022), Paraná ( Furtado et al., 2006; Barroso et al., 2019), Pernambuco ( Rosa et al., 2005; Vasconcelos et al., 2006; Fiaboe et al., 2007), Piauí ( Moraes et al., 1993), Rio Grande do Sul ( Furtado et al., 2006; Marchetti & Ferla, 2011), São Paulo ( Denmark & Muma, 1973; Gondim Jr. & Moraes, 2001; Lofego et al., 2004, 2017; Mineiro et al., 2004, 2008, 2009a; Feres et al., 2005; Castro & Moraes, 2010; Picoli et al., 2010; Demite et al., 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015; Moraes et al., 2013; Nunes et al., 2020), Sergipe ( Fiaboe et al., 2007) and Tocantins ( Cruz et al., 2012; Cañarte et al., 2020).
Distribution elsewhere. Not reported.
Remarks. Species described from Brazil. The measurements of the specimens examined are similar to those of the original description, except S2 and StIV, approximately twice as long; but StIV is about as long as reported by Moraes et al. (2013) for two paratypes.
