Specimens measured. SP (3).
Dorsal shield of female mostly smooth, with striae anterolaterad z4, 382 (375–390) long and 215 wide. Setal lengths: j1 42–45, j3 60–65, j4 4 (4–5), j5 4–5, j6 8 (8–9), J2 9 (8–9), J5 7 (7–8), z2 32 (30–37), z4 77 (70–87), z5 5, Z1 9 (7–10), Z4 77 (70–85), Z5 100 (92–107), s4 101 (95–107), S2 56 (55–57), S4 49 (45–57), r3 22 (20–27) and R1 40 (38–45). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances st1–st3 67 (65–70), st2–st2 81 (77–85), st5–st5 83 (75–88). Ventrianal shield reduced, 104–110 long and 90 wide at anus level, bearing only one pair of pre-anal setae (Jv2). Spermathecal calyx bell-shaped, 13 (11–16) long; atrium nodular. Fixed cheliceral digit 35 (33–38) long, with three teeth; movable digit 37 (35–38) long, with one tooth. Macrosetae of legs II–IV, sharp-tipped; SgeII 40–45, SgeIII 50, SgeIV 91 (83–100), StiIV 65 (62–70) and StIV 65 (63–68) .
Distribution in Brazil. São Paulo ( Mineiro et al., 2005, 2006a, 2009 a, 2012).
Distribution elsewhere. Algeria, Egypt, France, Georgia, Greece, Israel, Morocco, Peru, Spain, Turkey and USA.
Remarks. The measurements are similar to the redescription of type specimens of A. denmarki by Abo-Shnaf & Moraes (2014). This species has been reported in several occasions from Brazil, but only in S„o Paulo state.
