According to McMurtry & Moraes (1989), dorsal shield of female smooth, 328 (317–340) long and 205 (202–211) wide. Setal lengths: j1 27 (24–29), j3 42 (40–43), j4 8 (7–8), j5 5, j6 9 (8–10), J2 7, J5 7 (7–8), z2 14, z4 16 (14–17), z5 7, Z1 8 (7–9), Z4 80 (75–86), Z5 92 (84–98), s4 75 (73–78), S2 15 (14–16), S4 11 (10–12), S5 11 (10–12), r3 23 (22–24) and R1 10 (9–11). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 65 (62–66), st2–st2 73 (70–75), st5–st5 64 (64–66). Ventrianal shield 111 (102–115) long, 74 (73–76) wide at level of Zv2 and 70 (66–72) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx dish- to cup-shaped, 12 (10–15) long, calyx and atrium asymmetric, so that minor duct attaches to atrium in a depressed site. Fixed cheliceral digit 38 long, with 10–12 teeth; movable digit 37 (36–39) long, with three teeth. Macrosetae of legs I–IV; sharp-tipped, SgeI 31 (29–34), SgeII 30 (28–31), SgeIII 25 (23–27), SgeIV 53 (52–55), StiIV 37 (36–38) and StIV 60 (60–65) .

Distribution in Brazil. Bahia ( Moraes et al., 1993), Ceará ( Furtado et al., 2005) and Piauí ( Moraes et al., 1993).

Distribution elsewhere. Colombia and Peru.
