According to Castro et al. (2010), dorsal shield of female smooth, 297 long and 209 wide. Setal lengths: j1 25, j3 32, j4 4, j5 5, j6 5, J5 7, z2 4, z4 4, Z1 5, Z4 122, Z5 167, s4 100, S4 5, S5 7, r3 11 and R1 11; measurements of z5 and S2 not provided. Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 55, st2–st2 72, st5–st5 77. Ventrianal shield 88 long, 94 wide at level of Zv2 and 72 at anus level. Spermathecal calyx saccular, constricted at mid length, 18 long; atrium small. Fixed cheliceral digit 36 long, with 14-15 teeth; movable digit 32 long, with three teeth. Macrosetae on legs I–IV, sharp-tipped; SgeI 46, SgeII 32, SgeIII 42, SgeIV 108, StiIII 27, StiIV 70 and StIV 52 .

Distribution in Brazil. Espírito Santo ( El-Banhawy, 1984).

Distribution elsewhere. Costa Rica.

Remarks. Species described from Brazil. Specimens were not examined.
