Specimens measured. AM, BA, SP (1, 6, 1).

Dorsal shield of female mostly smooth, with scant anterolateral striae, 391 (369–408) long and 305 (288–319) wide. Setal lengths: j1 32 (28–35), j3 45 (39–48), j4 3, j5 3 (3–4), j6 4 (3–5), J5 4 (3–5), z2 23 (20–25), z4 17 (13–23), z5 3, Z1 5 (5–6), Z4 117 (113–124), Z5 103 (96–110), s4 116 (108–121), S2 7 (6–8), S4 7 (6–8), S5 7 (6–8), r3 23 (20–25) and R1 12 (10–13). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 62 (56–65), st2–st2 88 (85–93), st5–st5 111 (104–118). Ventrianal shield 116 (110–124) long, 118 (110–124) wide at level of Zv2 and 100 (85–113) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx saccular, 23 (18–25) long; atrium inconspicuous. Fixed cheliceral digit 34 long, with 12 teeth; movable digit 37 long, with three teeth. Macrosetae on legs II–IV, sharp-tipped; SgeII 33 (31–34), SgeIII 35 (31–40), SgeIV 74 (71–75), StiIII 31 (30–31), StiIV 56 (55–58) and StIV 67 (63–71) .

Distribution elsewhere. Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana and Peru.

Remarks. Species described from Brazil. The measurements of the specimens examined are similar to those of the original description, except r3 and R1, approximately 1.5 times longer in the specimens measured.
