Material examined. Mazandaran province, Chalus, 36°27′N 51°10′E, (2), 6.v.2009. New record for Iran. General distribution. Central and southern Europe, North Africa, southern and western Russia, Iraq, Turkey, Turkmenistan.

Biology. The species breeds in species of Acer (Sapindaceae) ( Michalski 1973; Pfeffer 1995). The biology and gallery system are described by Dodelin (2009) and Kašák et al. (2015).
