Daidalotarsonemus serratus Rezende et al., 2015b: 488 .

Diagnosis. Female: Gnathosoma : Palpal length about 1/5 length of gnathosoma. Dorsum: Coarse ornamentation present on prodorsum and tergite C, medially and laterally. Tergite D with two cells between setae d. Setae v1 and h unmodified in shape. Setae v1 shorter than sc2 (~ 23 and ~ 31, respectively), both longer than h (~ 16). Setae sc2, c1, c2, d, e and f leaf-shaped. Setae c1 longer than c2 (~ 24 and ~ 18, respectively) but both identical in shape (linear-lanceolate). Setae c1 inserted near posterior border of tergite C. Setae d and e similar in shape (ensiform and scaled). Setae d unique in length (~ 22) and width (~ 5). Setae e unique in length (~ 17) and width (~ 3). Setae f unique in shape (spatulate), length (~ 18) and width (~ 7). Setae f ~11 distant from each other, on cylindrical tubercles. Venter: Tegula rounded, distinctly arched posteriorly. Apodemes distinct, except for prosternal apodeme from level of apodemes 2 to sejugal apodeme. Apodemes 2 not fused to prosternal apodeme. Poststernal apodeme bifurcated anteriorly. Fissures laterad trochanters III, diagonally positioned from anterior end of apodemes 4 to posterior margin of metapodosomal ventral plate. Legs: sensory cluster of tibiotarsus I complete. Seta tc” of tarsus II and l’ of tibia III slender but serrate. Male & larva: unknown.
