Psettodes erumei (Bloch & Schneider, 1801) —Indian halibut

STATUS AT MADANG. New record from Madang, based on a specimen photographed by Tan H. H. at St. PR 54 on 17 Nov. 2012.

DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Red Sea and East Africa east to Philippines and New Guinea, north to southern Japan, south to northern Australia. Benthic on mud and sand bottoms, 1– 100 m. Marine.
