STATUS AT MADANG. New record from Madang based on USNM material (USNM 295599). DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. East Africa east to Line, Tuamotu and Tonga islands, north to southern Japan, south to northern Australia and New Caledonia. Secretive in caves and crevices of coral reefs, 3– 45 m. Marine.

STATUS AT MADANG. First record from Madang by Mooi (1995: 15). AMS and CAS material. DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Indonesia east to Palau and Solomon Islands, north to Ryukyu Islands, south to Papua New Guinea. Secretive in crevices of coral reefs, 0– 12 m. Marine.

STATUS AT MADANG. First record from Madang by Mooi (1995: 19). AMS and WAM material. DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Red Sea and East Africa east to Marshall Islands and Samoa, north to southern Japan, south to northern Australia. Secretive in crevices of seaward reefs, 0– 23 m. Marine.

STATUS AT MADANG. First record from Madang by Mooi (1995: 35). Specimens collected at SB 08; another specimen collected by W.-J. Chen, St. PB-45. AMS, BPBM, NTUM and SMF material.

DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Philippines east to Palau and Yap, south to New Guinea; Rowley Shoals (Western Australia). Secretive in crevices of coral reefs, 0– 16 m. Marine.

STATUS AT MADANG. First record from Madang by Mooi (1995: 51). AMS and CAS material. DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Indonesia east to Palau and Solomon Islands, north to Ryukyu Islands. Secretive in crevices of coral reefs, including tidal pools, 0– 15 m. Marine.

STATUS AT MADANG. Recorded from Madang in original description by Mooi (1995: 58). AMS, CAS, ROM and USNM material.

DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Eastern Indonesia east to Palau and Fiji, north to Taiwan, south to northern Australia and New Caledonia. Secretive in crevices of coral reefs, 0– 30 m. Marine.

STATUS AT MADANG. New record from Madang, based on WAM material (WAM P.30618-030). DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Northwestern Australia; Eastern Papua New Guinea east to Samoa and Tonga. In caves and crevices of seaward reef slopes, 2– 35 m. Marine.
