See notes under P. hartmeyeri . The New Caledonian N. brunneriana (Saussure, 1871) does not belong to Pseudomantis and is instead a member of the Tenoderina ( Mantidae : Tenoderinae : Tenoderini ). It will be assigned to a genus in the near future.
