TYPE LOCALITY: U.S.A., New Mexico, Grant Co., Fort Webster, copper mines of the Mimbres (= near Santa Rita) .
DISTRIBUTION: E. Nevada, S. Idaho, Utah, S.W. Wyoming, and N.W. Colorado south through Arizona and W. New Mexico ( U.S.A.) to N.W. Durango, W. Coahuila, and coastal Sonora ( Mexico).
COMMENT: Reviewed by Callahan and Davis, 1977, Southwest. Nat., 22:71, who included sonoriensis in this species.
