Diagnosis. This species can be distinguished from other Wolongia species by the combination of the following characters: 1) femur I with rows of short macrosetae prolaterally and ventrally ( Figs 15 View FIGURE 15 C, F; 18A–B); 2) the longest prolateral seta on Metatarsus I and II about 1.5 times longer than the width of Metatarsus I and II ( Figs 2 View FIGURE 2 E, 18C); 3) tip of cymbial ectobasal process hook-shaped ( Figs 15 View FIGURE 15 B, 17A); 4) cymbial base without a denticle retrolaterally; 5) atrium with a inverted “V”-shaped plate ventrally ( Figs 16 View FIGURE 16 C, 18D); 6) spermatheca membranous, approximately 3 times longer than wide in posterior view ( Figs 16 View FIGURE 16 B, 18F). Males of this species resemble W. bimacroseta n. sp., and the differences are discussed in the diagnosis of W. bimacroseta n. sp.
