Etymology. The specific name refers to the similarity of the main structure of vulva to Clubiona altissimus Hu, 2001 .
Diagnosis. This new species is similar to Clubiona altissimus ( Hu, 2001: 283, figs 163, 1–3), but can be distinguished from the latter by: (1) copulatory openings located in the underside of atrium instead of in the two sides in C. altissimus ; (2) fertilization ducts horizontal instead of inversed V-shaped in C. altissimus .
Description. Female (holotype): Total length 7.95. Prosoma 3.40 long, 2.30 wide; opisthosoma 2.10 long, 2.55 wide. Carapace oval in dorsal view, red brown, with erect thin dark setae on the front ridge. Cephalic portion of prosoma slightly elevated. Fovea longitudinal. Anterior eye row slightly recurved, posterior eye row slightly procurved. Eight eyes all light; bases of eyes black. Diameters of eyes: AME 0.12, ALE 0.14, PME 0.15, PLE 0.16. Distances between eyes: AME–AME 0.19, AME–ALE 0.12, PME–PME 0.36, PME– PLE 0.21, MOQL 0.21, MOQA 0.33, MOQP 0.56. Chelicerae dark red brown, with lateral condyle, promargin with 3 teeth, retromargin with 5 teeth. Gnathocoxae red brown, long and narrow, with dark serrula. Labium dark red brown, longer than wide. Sternum oval, yellow brown, with many hairs. Opisthosoma grey, with conspicuous anterior tufts of hairs, dorsum with black thin hairs and two pairs of muscular depressions; venter grey. Spinnerets yellow. Legs yellow. Tibiae I and II with 2 pairs of spines in ventral view. Measurements of legs: I 6.90 (1.90, 2.65, 1.50, 0.85), II 8.10 (2.35, 3.35, 1.55, 0.85), III 6.55 (1.90, 2.10, 1.80, 0.75), IV 10.00 (2.55, 3.60, 2.95, 0.90). Leg formula IV, II, I, III.
Epigyne ( Figs 6–7 View FIGURES 6 – 10 ). Atrium cordiform; copulatory openings small, located in the underside of atrium; copulatory ducts short; anterior spermathecae fan-shaped; posterior spermathecae globular, semitransparent; fertilization ducts short, curved and horizontal.
Male (one paratype): Total length 7.00. Prosoma 2.95 long, 2.10 wide; opisthosoma 4.05 long, 2.15 wide. Diameters of eyes: AME 0.14, ALE 0.17, PME 0.13, PLE 0.15. Distances between eyes: AME–AME 0.10, AME–ALE 0.05, PME–PME 0.18, PME–PLE 0.16; MOQL 0.31, MOQA 0.27, MOQP 0.41. Measurements of legs: I 7.55 (2.10, 2.80, 1.70, 0.95), II 8.35 (2.30, 3.20, 1.80, 1.05), III 6.70 (1.95, 2.35, 1.80, 0.60), IV 9.50 (2.60, 3.20, 2.90, 0.80). Leg formula IV, II, I, III. Opisthosoma light yellow, other characters as in female.
Palp ( Figs 8–10 View FIGURES 6 – 10 ). VTA short and with a blunt tip; RTA dark, sharp and strong; genital bulb bulging out; embolus wide, with a sharp triangular tip; conductor membranous, short and thin.
Distribution. China: Yunnan.
