Hylemyia tibiaria Rondani, 1866 View in CoL
ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: 1866a: 178 (key), 183 (description).
TYPE LOCALITY: “ in alpibus pedemontanis [Piedmont ( Italy) Alps ]” .
TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♂, holotype ( MZUF: Box 24): Hylemyia Rndn. / tibiaria Rnd., Alpi / 1253 / Delia tibiaria Rondani , Holotypus / Hennig det.
CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Delia criniventris (Zetterstedt, 1860) View in CoL ( Dely-Draskovits 1993: 42, Gorodkov et al. 1995: 6).
REMARKS: Rondani (1866a: 183) described Hylemyia tibiaria from a single male: “ Marem unicum a clar. Geneo olim obtinui [I formerly obtained a single male from Mr. Genè]”. Hennig (1974b: 784) reported the holotype in the MZUF. Rondani described this nominal species under the generic name “ Hylemyia ”, which is an “incorrect subsequent spelling of Hylemya Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 or subsequent usage of Hylemyia Macquart, 1835 ” ( O’Hara et al. 2011: 99).
