This species is known from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Chiapas in Mexico ( Morón 1990; Sorto & Sermeño-Chicas 2013). Four females specimens represent a new country record for Nicaragua, labeled: ” NICARAGUA: Carr. Matagalpa-Jinotega. Cerro Hornos, 1,600m, 5-VI-1994, D. Curoe col.” (DJCC). Six males and two females specimens represent a new state record for the state of Oaxaca, labeled: “ MEXICO: Oaxaca, San Miguel Chimalapa, San Antonio, El Retén, El Gringo, 23-VII-2017, Trampa de luz mercurial, Alt. 1,600 m, Bosque mesófilo, E. Mora-A., A. Ramirez-P, D. Curoe cols.“ (3 males, 2 females); same data except: “San Antonio, El Retén, Boca de la Montaña, 21-VII-2017, Luz UV, 1,480 m, borde Bosque mesófilo y Bosque de pino” (3 males) (CNIN, DJCC, EMAC, IEXA, LLDC).
