Material examined: CHINA, Guangdong Province, Guangzhou City , from leaves of Pyrrosia lingua (Thunb.) Farwell (23°11’13”N 113°17’51”E), 16 August. 2021, Li Hua ( ZHKU 22-0090 as dry culture; new host record), living cultures ZHKUCC 22-0161 and ZHKUCC 22-0162 .

Note: Pestalotiopsis nanjingensis was described from Camellia oleifera leaf spots ( Li et al. 2021). In this study, two isolates from healthy Py. lingua leaves were consistent with P. nanjingensis original description based on morphological and DNA sequence data ( FIGURE 4 ). Therefore, we describe P. nanjingensis as a new host record from Py. lingua .
