Diagnosis. Aedeagus with one or two pairs of long ventral processes arising from base of shaft or one pair arising from preatrium, latter pair sometimes loosely associated with preatrium near apex of connective; gonopore apical. Additional small sclerite, or process (paraphysis, Fig. 1E, I) sometimes present between aedeagus and connective.

Species of Bhatia differ from other Paraboloponina in the following combination of features: male pygofer appendage absent; subgenital plate without macrosetae and with medial margin straight (not emarginate); aedeagus with pair of elongate basolateral processes.

Remarks. In common with most other Paraboloponina, species of Bhatia have the subgenital plate without macrosetae. It differs from other Paraboloponina in having the aedeagus with a pair of elongate basolateral processes. The following characters of the leg not previously given can be noted: front femur with anteroventral (AV1) setae single and long, intercalary (IC) row with about 16 setae; AM1 seta large, situated near apex; AV setae absent.
