Loc. typ.: “Djoko-Punda” [5°27’04.0”S 20°58’12.6”E]

Material examined. Holotype, male: “ Democratic Republic of Congo: Kasai Province, Djokopunda , 10.08.1921, Schouteden leg.” ( MRAC).

Comments. This species was well described by Delève (1924), and is easily distinguished from all other species by its very large size (11–12 mm). Externally ( Fig. 26 ) similar to O. vittulatum Fairmaire, 1894 , especially some populations with large body size of the latter. The species known from the south of Democratic Republic of Congo. Perhaps it should be considered as a subspecies of O. vittulatum Fairmaire, 1894 . Additional material need to be studied.

Distribution. DR Congo ( Fig. 57 ).
