Notes
New record for Greece. Dağlı and Çınar (2011) described Prionospio maciolekae from material previously identified as Prionospio multibranchiata Berkeley, 1927 and question the presence of Prionospio multibranchiata in the Mediterranean. Re-examination of some of the Greek specimens of Prionospio multibranchiata revealed that they actually belong to Prionospio maciolekae . Type locality: Mediterranean (Turkey).
