Homoneura (Homoneura) abnormis View in CoL group
Diagnosis. Wing with six brown spots ( Figs 14, 22 View FIGURES 13 – 24 ), including subapical spot on R2+3, apical spots on R4+5 and M1, a medial spot between r-m and apical spot on R4+5, stripe-like spots or clouds on r-m and dm-cu; brown subapical spot on R2+3 at same vertical level of medial spot on R4+5, apical spot on R4+5 separated from that on M1. Male tergites 3–6 (female tergites 3–7) each with brown or black medial spot or stripe or black posterior margin; syntergosternite semicircular, surstylus with 1–2 apical processes, hypandrium H-shaped and hypandrial apodeme long or reverse U-shaped, pregonite or postgonite with short or long setulae, aedeagus acute apically.
This group is similar to the finitima group from the Australian Region in wing pattern. In the finitima group, the syntergosternite is circular and the aedeagus is round or truncate apically.
